Mayors Court

The Village of Baltimore re-instituted Mayor’s Court effective March 1, 2010. The court hears misdemeanor offenses that occur in the jurisdiction of the Baltimore Police Department, with the exception of second offense driving under the influence, second offense driving under DUI suspension or FRA (Financial Responsibility) suspension, or domestic violence cases.

Other types of cases heard in Baltimore Mayor’s Court include, but are not limited to, zoning cases, property maintenance cases, and tax-related cases.
 

Schedule

Mayor’s Court is held the first and third Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. Court sessions are held at the Town Hall located at 103 West Market Street. Entrance is located at the rear of the building.

Clerk of Courts Office

The Baltimore Clerk of Courts office is also located in the Baltimore Town Hall, 103 West Market Street. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., except for holidays.

About Us

The Clerk of Courts for the Baltimore Mayor’s Court is Missy Music. She oversees the administration and daily operations of the Court. Ms. Music can be reached at either 740-862-8550 or by email.

Cases brought before the court are heard by the magistrate, Kylie Keitch. The Village’s Prosecutor is Matthew Roth, who presents the Village’s cases to the Court.
